The Staff at Fusion Center For Dance
Director of Dance, Jenny Loy
Jenny began dancing locally at the age of 3. She danced all her formative years and then attended Western Michigan University and received her BA in Dance & Business in 1998.
While attending WMU she began teaching and doing choreography for the competitive team at Center Stage Dance Studio of Battle Creek, MI. Upon graduating Jenny helped open a second Center Stage studio in Kalamazoo, MI and became the Assistant Director of Center Stage Kalamazoo and the Ballet Director of both studios. Miss Jenny taught for Center Stage for 16 years, her choreography has been awarded both regionally and nationally, the Center Stage competitive teams are both regional and national champions and her former students can be seen dancing in New York, Los Angeles, on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and at numerous University dance programs across the country.
From 2000-2003 she was a part-time faculty member at the WMU Dept. of Dance teaching ballet and jazz. In 2001 Jenny joined the judging staff of ShowBiz National Talent Competition and has sat on judging panels for regional and national events. Since then Jenny has judged for Premier 2000, Hall of Fame Dance Challenge and continues to judge for ShowBiz, PrimeTime and Tribute Dance Competitions.
In 2010 Miss Jenny came back to southwest Michigan to direct Dance Arts competitive dance team and built an award winning group of wonderful dancers. She is so excited to be able to take her vision of a success recreational and competitive program in one studio to the next level by opening Fusion Center for Dance!
She and her husband Troy and children Sam, Joe and Kate are so happy to be permanently back in SW Michigan!

Co-Owner and Director of the Midwest Youth Ballet Company, Christine Waterhouse
With over 35 years of dance experience in studying and teaching ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary, Miss Christine has danced with renowned instructors, including Gus Giordano, Audrey Mendel, Patty Obey, Frank Hatchett, and many more.
From 1986-2004, she was a dance instructor at Dance Arts in Stevensville. In 1997 she established the Rapid City Dance Factory in Grand Rapids with over 150 students and founded the CityKids Dance Troupe (now known as Dance Arts Performing Core). She was also a choreographer with Studio Dance Theatre, creating dances for the bi-annual Nutcracker as well as the entire Firebird Ballet production with over 50 students.
From 2006-2009, she was the pom pon coach for St. Joseph High School JV & Varsity squads. She is also active volunteer with Blossomtime and a former Miss Southwest Michigan. Christine lives in St. Joseph with her three children, Raistlin, Tyler and Brye.
