GENERAL INFORMATION & POLICIES

Enrollment: Students may register any time of year.  Classes run September through June, with additional special camps and workshops throughout the year.

 

Tuition: Our annual session is based on ten months (September to June).  The number of weekly classes varies over that time but to simplify billing a flat monthly rate is charged.  The studio will be closed for the following holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, Spring Break, Memorial Weekend. No regular class the week of the recital.

 

45 min class            $45

1 hr class                 $60

1 hr 15 min class     $75

Benton Harbor Ballerina Princess and Combo Classes $60/month

 

Multi-Class/Family Discounts Available.

 

Unlimited Class Rate $325/month

 

Registration Fee: A $35.00 per student or $60 per family is automatically charged with initial registration annually.

 

Payments: Tuition payments are withdrawn from your on-file debit or credit card through an auto-pay system on the first of each month.  If the card on file is declined for any reason, or if a card is not kept on file a $10.00 processing fee will be added to your account each month. 

 

Any tuition paid after the fifth of the month will incur a $25.00 late fee or 25% of the total due (if more than $100 is due).

 

Withdrawals: Withdrawals MUST fill out a form found at the front desk by the 25th of the month to NOT be charged tuition for the following month.  There are no refunds or credits for tuition, costumes or other fees already paid.

 

Home School Partnership Programs:  Fusion works with both the Berrien and Niles Partnership program.  Contact Fusion or those school districts for more details.

 

Absences: If your child is absent from class for more than one week, we ask that you let the studio know.  You are welcome to make up any class in a class of your choice during the week at your convenience.

 

Parent Portal: All families have access to their account balance, Zoom observation sessions, links to practice videos, recital music, evaluations and other important information at any time online through the Fusion parent portal.

 

Attire: All students are to wear the appropriate dance attire to all classes.  See attire requirements on the Fusion website under each class description. Items are available for sale in our gift shop.

 

Observation: Parents, friends, and family may observe their dancer’s class(es) every week through the online Zoom function.  Links can be found in your parent portal. 

 

Evaluations: Dance evaluations will be given out at the end of each season.  They are completed by the instructor and reviewed by the dance director.  This will give the parent an overview of your child’s progress and placement for the following season.

 

Communication: Fusion Center for Dance is green!  A monthly newsletter will be sent via email each month with important information. 

 

Recital: All dancers are welcome and encouraged to participate in the annual recital. This is held at the Mendel Center, typically the 3rd Saturday of June.  Dancers participating in this year-end celebration are required to purchase a costume for each class he/ she is participating in. Costume costs start at $100 per costume/class and is due in October.  Financing available. More details to come.

 

A $25 performance fee (March) will also be charged to each dancer in the recital to cover the costs of chaperones and other fees associated with putting on the performance.
