Miss Stephanie Carrier-Ohme, Fusion lead instructor and Fusion Dance Co. Assistant Director.
From the Metro Detroit area, Stephanie started dance at the age of 2, she has been training for almost 30 years. She has trained in almost every style but specializes in jazz and lyrical/contemporary. This led to the beginning of her teaching career at the age of 16 with recreational classes and then into competitive.
As a performer, Stephanie has been awarded regional and national titles and has gone on to dance both collegiately and professionally. While attending Oakland University in Rochester, MI, she became a member of their dance team “Images”, performing at sporting events and competing at UDA on both hip hop and jazz teams. In 2007, Stephanie became a member of the Detroit Pistons Dance Team “Automotion”. For 4 seasons she performed at every home game, choreographed for the team, was a co-captain, performed at the Detroit Autoshow, had several TV and radio appearances, and traveled to Puerto Rico.
Until her move to the west side of Michigan, Stephanie was the director of The Detroit Tigers Energy Squad for 3 seasons. She has also helped with the Miss Michigan United States Pageant, judged all teams of entertainment for the Detroit Pistons as well as the newly formed Detroit Lions Cheerleaders.

Miss Stephanie moved to Southwest Michigan in 2015 and quickly joined the Fusion faculty. In 2016, Stephanie began working and choreographing for the Fusion Dance Company and became company assistant director in 2017. Miss Stephanie’s choreography has been awarded both regionally and nationally. She is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor and, also judges for ShowBiz National Talent and PrimeTime Dance. Miss Stephanie loves to see all her dancers, from the littlest ballerinas on up, learn, achieve and grow every week!
